Check out the North West Food Lovers Festival for some fantastic new picnic food ideas!

The North West Food Lovers festival has moved home from the Tatton Park site where it started four years ago to EventCity, next to the Trafford Centre, in Manchester.'

Although the city is one of our curry capitals, you'll find the complete regional flavour of Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire represented here. Between October 18th-20th, you can watch local celebrity chefs like Norman Musa (Malaysian local chef of the year) and Sean Wilson (a Master Lancashire cheesemaker) magic the beautiful local produce into tasty dishes.'

Over 150 local producers come to show off and sell their wares, making this is the perfect opportunity to pick up some new foods and ideas for your next picnic. Maybe some fresh African bread from Cleopatra Foods or one of ex-Coronation Street star Sean Wilson's cheeses in your hamper would go down well! The guy who played Martin Platt now produces Lancashire cheeses with names like Muldoon's Picnic (crumbly) and How's Yer Father (creamy). There are also cookery sessions for junior chefs, regular wine tastings for the over-18s.

Check out the PicnicShop range of Picnic Baskets and make sure that you're able to carry all of your tasty new picnic foods in style!

Enjoy your picnicking!
